An evening with Neil Gladding (Director, The Oxford Wine Co.) and Thomas Frake (MasterChef Champion). Neil and Thomas will be presenting a three-course meal celebrating Great British flavours, with each course paired with - not just one, but - two exquisite wines. And if that wasn't enough, you'll also receive a glass of fizz on arrival too.

The local community meet once a month for an easy country walk through the Ogbourne Valley. The walk starts and ends at the pub. Everyone, including adults, kids and dogs, are welcome to join. This group meets at 10:45am on the 2nd Sunday of each month. If you want to join us for Sunday Lunch, booking is advised to avoid missing out.

New Years Eve
A community focussed New Years Eve celebration with an open buffet, community drinks, and music playing until late. Families and dogs are welcome. Entry and buffet is £10 per person. General admission tickets available in advance at the bar.
Christmas Party & Quiz
A traditional Christmas get together, with Christmas songs, hand bell ringing, carol singing, and our Cracking Christmas Quiz! Quiz is £2 per person, maximum 6 per team. A bottle of wine and a tub of Christmas Chocolates for the winning team.
Bridge
The local Bridge Group meet once a week to play Bridge here at THE SILKS. Bridge is a community club that takes place every Thursday. The pub is open from 12pm for pre-Bridge lunch. The pub is open as usual.
